the eye-kissing light,
the light strikes, my darling, the chords of love;
the sky opens, the wind runs wild, laughter passes over the earth.
This is exactly how I feel when I see sunsets. It is an unexplainable joy that I experience. As the sun starts setting down, the entire landscape around starts changing dramatically. Birds start flying towards their abode and colors in the sky start changing magically. Ever since I started capturing the beauty of nature, I have been mesmerized by sunsets. I always feel that sunsets try to tell me a story that the day has ended for good, forget the past and start thinking about tomorrow. The sun fades away with such color and grandeur, it always reminds me that I should have a joyful life. I sometimes wonder about how much there is to learn in each sunset, and that makes me so attached to it. I don’t think I will ever get bored capturing and enjoying the sunsets. Here are some photos that mesmerized me during such trips.

Sunsets are beautiful at Bangalore as well. This was taken in Lalbagh.

Sunset in the Western Ghats
The Western ghats along with the mountain ranges is considered to be the hottest biodiversity hotspot. It provides ample opportunity to witness beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Here are some sunsets I have captured during my visit to these mountain ranges.
Sunset near Beaches in and around Mangalore
There are plenty of beaches in and around Mangalore. It is always fun to watch the never ending waves hit the shore with the sun setting in the background. Every beach I have visited so far is unique in a way or other. I know there are plenty to cover yet :). Here are very few sunset photos I have captured so far.
Sunset at Shettihalli
Shettihalli near Hassan is famous for a old Rosary Church that was submerged when the dam was built and visible when water levels are low. Whenever I go there, more than the Church I am fascinated by the amazing sunset.
Sunset at River Tern Lodge, Bhadra
I had been to JLR River Tern Lodge, Bhadra with Darter to shoot river terns. Along with river terns, I got to witness and capture this amazing sunset as well.
End of the day it is the joy and happiness that you experience when you
see the mesmerizing nature and its beauty!
